After being expelled from the national taekwondo team, Kwon Yoo (Ji Chang Wook) becomes addicted to computer games. While playing in an Internet caf��, the unemployed youth receives a call from a mysterious girl who asks him to help find her phone. After returning the phone to the caller, he is suddenly arrested and accused of raping and murdering a high school girl. His lawyer (Oh Jung Se,?Life Risking Romance) persuades him to admit to the crime but Kwon Yoo insists on his innocence. He is eventually sent to jail where he gets cruelly beaten by fellow inmate Ma Deok Soo (Kim Sang Ho). After escaping from the prison with the help of a sympathetic serial killer, Kwon Yoo teams up with other gamers, including genius hacker Yeo Wool (Shim Eun Kyung) and special effects specialist Demolition (Ahn Jae Hong), to uncover the dark secret behind the case.
