In Los Angeles, renowned Korean shaman Hwa Rim (Kim Go Eun) and her prot��g�� Bong Gil (Lee Do Hyun) receive a huge commission to help the eldest grandson of a family plagued by a mysterious illness. Hwa Rim notices that the gravestone of an ancestor is the cause of the curse, and recommends relocating it. She enlists feng shui master Sang Deok (Choi Min Sik) and undertaker Yeong Geun (Yu Hae Jin) to join the exhumation. Sang Deok senses an ominous energy around the grave that points to a vengeful and harmful supernatural presence.
