    A Joseon king forms a detective team in the offbeat palace drama The King's Case Note. Directed by Moon Hyun Sung (As One), the comedy is adapted from Heo Yoon Mi's same-titled comic, which was serialized from 2012 to 2013 in the magazine Wink. Lee Seon Gyun (The Advocate: A Missing Body) presents a light-hearted image of a Joseon king who is usually depicted as a stern-faced figure. Ahn Jae Hong (Fabricated City) co-stars as a brilliant royal historian who helps the detective king solve crimes. The crime-fighting adventure also includes Kim Hee Won (The Merciless), Kyung Soo Jin (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo), Jung Hae In (Salute D'Amour), Joo Jin Mo (Chronicle of a Blood Merchant) and Park Jung Min in a cameo role.

    To unmask the betrayers who plan to dethrone him, King Yejong (Lee Seon Gyun) starts investigating crimes related to the conspiracy. Meanwhile, young scholar Yi Seo (Ahn Jae Hong) is appointed as the king's chronicle keeper. Amazed by Yi Seo's incredible photographic memory, Yejong enlists his help to dig out the mastermind behind a scheme to install his 12-year-old nephew, Prince Jaseong (Uhm Ji Sung), on the throne.
