DetailAward-winning actor Park Hae Il (War of the Arrows) takes on the challenging role of a 70-year-old poet who falls in love with a teenage girl in the sensational drama A Muse. Directed by Jung Ji Woo (Modern Boy), the sexually charged film is based on Park Bum Shin's best-selling novel Eun Gyo. Newcomer Kim Go Eun stars as the muse whose appearance upturns the lives of the poet and his apprentice, played by Kim Moo Yeol (War of the Arrows).
Famous 70-year-old poet Lee Jeok Yo lives a quiet life with his writing and his protege Seo Ji Woo (Kim Moo Yeol). One day, a 17-year-old girl, Eun Gyo (Kim Go Eun), shows up in Lee's home, and he is instantly taken in by her innocent, sensual beauty. When Eun Gyo is around, Lee feels young and in love again. Lee writes a story about his affection for her, but Ji Woo steals the novel and publishes it in his own name, sparking a dangerous triangle of love, lust, and loneliness.
