Based on Masuda Miri's popular fourCcell manga series,?Sue, Mai and Sawa: Righting the Girl Ship?explores the lives of three unmarried women who wonder if there's more to life than just work and love. Writer Tanaka Sachiko (Tokyo Sonata) and director Minorikawa Osamu change the original manga's anecdotal structure, telling a singular story about these women's friendship and the difficulty they face in their own lives. Shibasaki Kou (Suspect X), Maki Yoko (Love Strikes) and Terajima Shinobu (Helter Skelter) co-star as the three women in this light, humorous drama that will speak to any woman who has lost her way in life.

Su (Shibasaki Kou), Mai (Maki Yoko) and Sawako (Terajima Shinobu) used to be co-workers who remained friends despite moving on to other jobs. Su-chan now works full-time at a caf and has a crush on her manager (Iura Arata). Mai-chan is a saleswoman who has a terrible boss and a married boyfriend who keeps avoiding her. Sawako-chan gets to work at home as a web designer, but the other half of her life is devoted to help her mother take care of her grandmother. Even though the three women worry everyday about the future of their own lives (or lack thereof), they can at least rely on each other for friendship.

This edition includes making of, interviews, special television programs, a music video and trailers on a?bonus DVD. It also comes with a?booklet.
